Dr. Martha James completed her medical degree in 2021, at the University of Sydney. She worked at Gosford and Wyong Hospitals before choosing a career in General Practice, gaining experience in Emergency Medicine, Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Martha enjoys all areas of general practice and looking after patients of all ages. She has particular interests in Paediatrics, Women’s Health and Mental Health. Martha is passionate about preventative healthcare, and has completed a Masters of Public Health at UNSW.
Outside of work, Martha enjoys staying active with her dog Cocoa, reading and cooking.
Dr James is currently a GP registrar, which means that she is a fully qualified General Practitioner currently completing fellowship training through the RACGP to achieve specialist General Practitioner status.
Dr James is an employed GP at DMC Medical Centre, is private billing, and will be available by appointment on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and some Saturdays.
