One of the GPs at DMC Medical Centre is currently trialling the use of an AI Scribe at this practice. This is for recording of consultation notes only, not for any other purpose. Prior to a consultation with this doctor, each patient will be provided with detailed information on the AI scribing service the first time that they visit that GP, and be given the opportunity to consent or opt out of this being used during their consult. The doctor will then obtain verbal consent for the use of this service prior to each consultation.
