Lara graduated in 1983 from the University of Sydney with honours and also holds a Diploma of Child Health and a Graduate Diploma of Public Health. She also has postgraduate training in mental health. She has spent nearly 30 years working in general practice and has a special interest in child health, women’s health, preventative medicine and aged care. Dr Mihaljevic also works part time at the Inner West Sydney Medicare Local as a clinical editor on the Health Pathways project (a web based portal for GPs providing evidence based information on disease management of patients).
