Patient Fees
DMC Medical Centre is a mixed billing practice.
Bulk Billing
The following doctors bulk bill on weekdays for patients with a valid Medicare card. Please note that most of these doctors patient lists are full and they are not taking new patients:
- Dr Gambrill (not available for new patients)
- Dr Marr (taking new patients)
- Dr Munro (only available to current patients of Dr Munro)
- Dr Wong (only available to current patients of Dr Wong)
Private Billing
The following doctors privately bill, except on normal weekdays for patients with a Pension card or a Health Care card. DVA patients (with a valid DVA card) are bulk billed through the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Children under 16 are bulk billed by some of our private billing doctors on weekdays, but will be privately billed on weekends and public holidays.

Walk Ins
In order to ensure priority of our patients with appointments, all general walk ins are charged privately in accordance with our consultation fee list.
New Patients
We welcome new patients to our practice, however please note that all of our bulk billing doctors patient lists are full and are not taking new patients. Only some of our private billing doctors have availability to accept new patients, and are strictly private billing unless it is for a Health Care Card Holder, Pension Card Holder, or DVA Card Holder.
Children that are 16 and under and new to DMC are bulk billed on normal weekdays by Drs Davidson, Eid, Mihaljevic, Nguyen, Tewari, and Xia only. Please note that all children are privately billed by Drs Cameron, Cordaro, Kalyuga, Kelly, Kong, Low, Ong, and Pope.
There is a fee of $45 payable at the time of booking for new private patients as pre-payment for the consultation. All fees charged at the consultation will be at the full rebate rate other than the initial $45 booking fee.
On normal weekdays (not public holidays) patients that hold health care cards or pension cards, or bookings for a child with a doctor that bulk bills children, there is no fee for this service but it must be booked over the phone for the first appointment as there is not an option for this on our online booking servic
Cancellations
If you are unable to attend an appointment, a minimum of 1 hours notice is required. This is so that other patients will have the opportunity to fill that appointment.
If less than 1 hours notice is provided, or does not check in at the practice for an appointment, or is not available on the phone after 3 attempts call throughout the day, there will be a non rebateable cancellation fee of $35 charged. This fee must be paid prior to returning to the practice for a further appointment.
Financial Difficulty
Please note, if you are experiencing financial difficulties and do not possess a pension or Department of Veterans Affairs card, please feel free to discuss this with your doctor as they may arrange to bulk bill for you.
Please note that overseas visitors are charged a slightly increased rate unless they become permanent patients of the practice (after 3 consults).

New-born awaiting Medicare
While parents await for their new-born’s to receive their Medicare card there will be a private fee associated with the consultation/s, however rebates are able to be claimed after the Medicare has been issued directly through services Australia.
Billing & Payments
All Private Fees must be paid for at the time of consultation, we do not hold accounts. There will be some additional private costs associated with:
- Employment Medicals
- Women’s Health Medicals
- Travel Vaccines
- Transfer of Patients Medical Record
- Psychological Services
- RTA Medicals
Sorry but we do not offer third party accounts – all patients must pay privately at the time of consultation. We accept Cash, EFTPOS, Visa, MasterCard and American Express. We will not accept Diners or any cheques.

Other Private Fees
Please note that we charge a private fee for all dressings for both Bulk Billed, Privately Billed and Workers Compensation patients.
