DMC Medical Centre is a mixed billing practice. We offer private and bulk billing appointment options.
Bulk Billing
The following doctors bulk bill on weekdays for patients with a valid Medicare card. Please note these appointments are for regular patients of the practice.

Private Billing
The following doctors privately bill, meaning there is an out of pocket payment after receiving the Medicare rebate. Patients that hold a valid Pension or Health Care Card as well as DVA patients will be bulk billed by all doctors at DMC Medical Centre on normal weekdays.
Additionally, children under 16 are bulk billed by some of our private billing doctors on normal weekdays.
However, concession card holders, pension card holders and children will be privately billed on weekends and public holidays.

New Patients - Welcome to our Practice
We’re pleased to accept new patients. However, please note that our bulk billing doctors are currently at full capacity and cannot take new patients. Most of our private billing doctors have availability, and they will charge privately unless you hold a Health Care Card, Pension Card, or DVA Card.
For children aged 16 and under who are new to DMC, bulk billing is available on normal weekdays with Drs. Davidson, Nguyen (Ken and Trisha), Tewari, and Xia. Other doctors, including Drs. Cameron, Cordaro, Kalyuga, Kelly, Kong, Low, Ong, and Pope, will privately bill children.
A $45 pre-payment is required at the time of booking for new patients, which will be deducted from the total consultation cost. Please note that this fee is non-refundable if you do not attend your appointment.
Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to attend your appointment, please provide at least 1 hour’s notice. This allows us to offer the appointment to other patients.
If you give less than 1 hour’s notice, a cancellation fee of $35 will be charged. This fee must be paid before scheduling another appointment.

Financial Difficulty
Please note, if you are experiencing financial difficulties and do not possess a pension or Department of Veterans Affairs card, please feel free to discuss this with your doctor as they may arrange to bulk bill for you.
Overseas Visitors
Please note that overseas visitors are not eligible for a Medicare Rebate and are therefore charged a standard rate payable at the time of consultation.

While parents await for their new-born’s to receive their Medicare card there will be a private fee associated with the consultation/s, however rebates are able to be claimed after the Medicare has been issued directly through services Australia.

Billing & Payments
All Private Fees must be paid for at the time of consultation, we do not hold accounts. There will be some additional private costs associated with:

- RTA Medicals
- Dressings
- Iron Infusions
Sorry, we do not offer third party accounts – all patients must pay privately at the time of consultation. We accept Cash, EFTPOS, Visa, MasterCard. We will not accept Diners or any cheques. Please note that a payment processing surcharge is automatically charged by Tyro for all payments made by EFTPOS, Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. This is a dynamic percentage as set by Tyro, and is compliant with ACCC card surcharge requirements.

Other Private Fees
Please note that we charge a private fee for all dressings for both Bulk Billed, Privately Billed and Workers Compensation patients.
