Bulk Billing

Please note that the bulk billing GPs at DMC have all closed their patient lists and are unable to take further patients. This includes patients of DMC that have not seen one of these doctors in 2 years or more (and is not interchangable from doctor to doctor).

Private Billing

The following doctors privately bill, meaning there is an out of pocket payment after receiving the Medicare rebate.

Children under 16 are bulk billed by some of our private billing doctors on normal weekdays.

New Patients - Welcome to our Practice

We’re pleased to accept new patients. However, please note that our bulk billing doctors are currently at full capacity and cannot take new patients.

For children aged 16 and under who are new to DMC, bulk billing is available on normal weekdays with Drs. Davidson, K Nguyen, T Nguyen, and Xia. Other doctors, including Drs. Cameron, Cordaro, Kalyuga, Kelly, Kong, Low, and Ong, privately bill children.

All new patients will be privately billed for their first appointment and a $45 pre-payment is required at the time of booking, which will be deducted from the total consultation cost. Please note that this fee is non-refundable if you do not attend your appointment. DVA veterans that hold a valid Department of Veteran Affairs card and provide this to reception on arrival, will be bulk billed under DVA provisions for their appointments.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend your appointment, please provide at least 1 hour’s notice. This allows us to offer the appointment to other patients.

If you give less than 1 hour’s notice, a cancellation fee of $35 will be charged. This fee must be paid before scheduling another appointment.

Financial Difficulty

Please note, if you are experiencing financial difficulties and do not possess a pension or Department of Veterans Affairs card, please discuss this with your doctor as they may arrange to bulk bill for you.

Overseas Visitors

Please note that overseas visitors are not eligible for a Medicare Rebate and are therefore charged a standard rate payable at the time of consultation.

While parents await for their new-born’s to receive their Medicare card there will be a private fee associated with the consultation/s, however rebates are able to be claimed after the Medicare has been issued directly through services Australia.

Sorry, we do not offer third party accounts – all patients must pay privately at the time of consultation. We accept Cash, EFTPOS, Visa, MasterCard. We will not accept Diners or any cheques. Please note that a payment processing surcharge is automatically charged by Tyro for all payments made by EFTPOS, Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. This is a dynamic percentage as set by Tyro, and is compliant with ACCC card surcharge requirements.

There may also be private costs associated with referred services. For details please check with the service on booking.
