DMC Medical Centre, as well as all practitioners associated with DMC, are now registered with MyMedicare and we are accepting patient registration.
The benefits of registering with MyMedicare for our patients are:
- Greater continuity of care with their registered practice, which provides greater opportunity to improve health outcomes
- Registered patients will have access to longer MBS-funded and rebated telephone calls (Levels C and D) with their usual GP, promoting better accessibility and quality of care.
- Triple bulk billing incentives for longer MBS telehealth consultations (Levels C, D, and E) will be available for children under 16, pensioners and other Commonwealth concession card holders registered with their general practice.
You can register now for MyMedicare in the following ways:
- Using the Medicare Express App
- Via the Medicare website
- By completing a form (however this will take longer to activate)
Registration via the Medicare Express app is easy.
- Simply select “Register for MyMedicare” then select Start
- Once in “Search for your practice“, select DMC Medical Centre, and then select Next
- Select your preferred GP, then select Next
- Select “submit registration”, then follow the prompts to complete your registration.
Registration via the Medicare Website can be completed by:
- Sign into myGov
- Select Medicare
- Select Register for MyMedicare, then Start
- Under search for your practice, select DMC Medical Centre, then Next
- Select your preferred GP, then Next
- Select Submit registration, then follow the prompts to complete your registration.
