Dr Maria Kalyuga has been a member of our GP team since February 2020. Maria completed her medical training at the University of Sydney and has worked at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Chris O’Brien Lifehouse prior to entering General Practice. She has earned a PhD from the Garvan Institute of Medical Research.
Maria has an interest in all aspects of women’s health, including family planning, antenatal shared care, contraception, menopause treatment and cervical screening. Her focus is also on chronic disease management and she enjoys building a collaborative relationship with her patients for optimising their health long term.
Maria recognises the importance of preventative health and encourages its implementation, including general population screening, PreP, sexual health screening and individualised health assessments.
