DMC Patient Feedback Survey – here’s a few things we’re doing as a result of your feedback

Many of our patients completed our patient feedback survey recently, and we received lots of important information as a result. Thanks to everyone that so kindly filled it in. We know it was lengthy, but it’s helped us to improve as a result.

Some improvements we’ve made in response to your feedback :

What you told us

Waiting times for some of the doctors can be a bit lengthy.

Improvements we’re making

We encourage our patients to make a long or double appointment if they have a complex or multiple issues. The doctors are all reserving gaps in their appointment lists to allow them to catch up if running behind.

What you told us

The waiting room is looking a little tired.

Improvements we’re making

We are currently working on a slow rolling update of the waiting room and other parts of the practice. Some of you may have already noticed painting taking place in the ground floor consulting rooms and corridor. More changes are underway, and we are doing this slowly so that we don’t disrupt the availability of service for our patients.

You also may or may not know that we recently added some solar panels to the roof and now add power to the grid during the day! We are also slowly greening our practice, so you will notice more plants, various ways we are trying reduce paper usage and increase recycling, and other green iniatives each time you visit.

What you told us

Some of you request iron infusions to be made available at DMC.

Changes we’re making

We have now introduced an iron infusion service which is available upon referral by a GP at DMC and by appointment with our nurses.

What you told us

You would like more information to be made available on our fees.

Changes we’re making

This is provided in detail in the fees section on this website. We always update this information whenever there are any changes.

Special note…

We really appreciate all the marvelous and kind feedback that so many of you provided. It’s an honour to be able to care for and support our wonderful community and we all really enjoy being an integratal part of the culture in Drummoyne and surrounds.
