We’re delighted to welcome our newest doctor joining our practice, Dr Vivian Xia!
Vivianne will be commencing practice at DMC next Wednesday 8th of February, and is available by appointment on Wednesdays, Fridays, and some Saturdays.
Here’s some more information about Dr Xia:
Dr Vivianne Xia
MD, SCHP, BMusStudies
Vivianne completed her Medical studies at the University of Sydney with scholarship. She trained at Westmead and Auburn Hospital and has worked in multiple private practices across Sydney.
Dr Xia enjoys holistic and preventative care. She has special interest in Pediatrics with additional training through Sydney Child’s Health program, Women’s Health and Dermatology. She is completing a certificate of Women’s health through RANZCOG and is undergoing training in skin disease. In light of the increasing mental health burden, she is now a provider of mental health counselling through focused psychological strategies.
She enjoys meeting patients from all walks of life and committed to making evidence based decisions with her patients. Prior to medicine, she was a violinist and still plays from time to time! In her free time she enjoys going for walks, reading and cooking.
Dr Xia is a registrar GP currently awaiting the completion of her fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
